Science Fun Day at Mawson Lakes

Join City of Salisbury on Sunday 13 August to bring a day of discovery to the young minds of our community.

The Science Fun Day will be full of exciting STEM activities, interactive science demonstrations, captivating experiments and so much more.

I’m so excited for the Science Fun Day. Its always so great to see children enjoying themselves while learning at the same time. STEM activities are such a fantastic way to teach them that education can be so much fun.

Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM

Being held at The Mawson Centre, the space will be brought to life for two sessions throughout the day, three hours each.

Session 1: 10am to 1pm

Session 2: 1.30pm to 4.30pm

At City of Salisbury, we have a progressive mindset and love providing opportunities for our young people to embrace the future and feel inspired to learn. We are proud to bring STEM activities to our City, to help inspire tomorrow’s leaders and workforce.

Whether your kids love to be hands on making things, playing with slime or dinosaur puppets, walking through planetariums, learning about bugs and slugs, or sitting back and watching a scientist in action, there will be something captivating for every young mind on this day full of educational adventure.
