Hop into Easter at the Burton Community Markets weekend

Seeking out hidden local Easter treats? Look no further than the Burton Easter Markets, to be held at the Burton Community Hub Saturday 2 April from 10am to 2pm.

Support your local community at this free event, where an array of stallholders will offer a wide range of wares including crafts, plants, produce and more. You might even find a chocolate egg or two!

Every-bunny can also look forward to fun activities like face painting, food stalls and roving entertainment.

The Burton Easter Market is the third of four community markets the City of Salisbury is hosting throughout 2022 and 2023.

Each market offers local producers and community groups an opportunity to gather at a central hub location to promote their small businesses and showcase their skills in a safe and welcoming environment.

As a community, our commitment to sustainability is not only about protecting the environment but also about fostering our community connections. When we choose locally made and produced market wares, we support our local businesses and artisans, creating a stronger sense of community. In doing so, we build a resilient, vibrant and sustainable future that benefits us all.

The Youth Markets will be held at the Salisbury Community Hub on Thursday 18 May for stallholders aged 30 and under. It only costs $10 to host a stall, so register your interest now.

Want to run a stall but don’t know how? Young Change Agents can show you at their ‘How to host a market stall' workshop in the April school holidays.

This $10 workshop is designed especially for Youth Market attendees and will be held at the Salisbury Community Hub on Monday 17 April from 10am to 3pm.

Stay tuned for more announcements about the Salisbury Community Markets later this year.
