Be inspired: a cocktail event to mark International Women’s Day

Need a little inspo? The power of positivity is on the menu at the City of Salisbury’s celebrated International Women’s Day Cocktail Evening on Thursday 10 March at 7pm.

Hosted by Adelady’s Hayley and Lauren and featuring international speaker and bestselling author Sharon Muscet, it’s the perfect excuse to go ‘full glam’ and help inspire and build confidence in our female role models.

The ticketed event includes drinks and canapes, entertainment, door prizes and great company.

I want to show people whether its relationship issues or career road blocks, you can overcome them with the power of your mind.

Sharon Muscet, Author and Keynote Speaker

Sharon’s story is inspiring to say the least. She had a “blessed life” as she called it, travelling the world, at the height of her corporate career, when everything changed the moment she stepped on the tail of a sting-ray.

For two years she was off her feet, in hospital, in and out of operations and facing death.

The only thing you can control is your mind. You’re the gatekeeper of your mind. Again, it’s all about choosing how you respond and you can get more out of life and from the people you love by choosing positivity.

Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM said tickets in the past had booked out fast, so people should book now to avoid being disappointed.

This event oozes female empowerment and comes at such a relevant time where women in their communities are still fighting for equality and respect. I can’t wait to meet everyone on the night and get inspired by the speakers and guests.
