Neighbour Day 2022 Expression of Interest
Want to get to know your neighbours? Here’s your chance!
Neighbour Day is a day where we encourage people to reach out and connect with their neighbours and their neighbourhood. It helps to connect people and communities across Australia, one relationship at a time. In 2022, Neighbour Day will be held on 27 March.
City of Salisbury is seeking local volunteers or street champions who reside within the City of Salisbury to take the lead in organising a Neighbour Day ‘get-together’ in their local neighbourhood. The possibilities to celebrate Neighbour Day and connect with your community are endless and could include a morning tea or picnic at your local park or even a bbq in your local reserve.
To support Neighbour Day and to make it easier for volunteers to organise a get-together, the City of Salisbury will provide each nominated Neighbour Day event with a food voucher and provide promotional and general support.
