Living Well

The City of Salisbury is committed to helping its residents lead a healthy and active lifestyle. This Living Well site aims to increase awareness of the importance of physical activity and wellbeing for adults as well as showing you where you can take part in activities at a council facility.

So what does this mean for you?

Have you talked about becoming fitter and healthier? Have you or your doctor talked about the need to make some lifestyle changes? Not sure where to start?

The City of Salisbury through it's over 50's centres, community centres and recreation centres has many affordable health and wellbeing programs for adults. These programs are designed to get you moving and motivated create a happier, healthier you.

What do we mean by Wellbeing or Wellness?

There are seven dimensions of wellness: physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational, environmental and spiritual (in no particular order). We need to be doing something positive in each area to benefit our overall Wellbeing.

Download the list of examples under each wellness dimension and look to see whether any resonate with you.
