Construction of a shared use path at Walkley Heights has commenced.
The project funded by the City of Salisbury and the 2024-25 State Bicycle Fund, will create a sealed surface for residents to safely travel to and from the bus network and provide a safer surface for users.
The works being undertaken will provide linkage at the following locations:
Construction works are anticipated to take approximately three weeks to complete. During construction works, traffic and pedestrian restrictions will be in place.
We are delivering a new modern playground at RM Williams Reserve, Walkley Heights. This new playground will have a range of play equipment including a play tower, swing set, springer, climbing logs and natural play elements like a log stepper.
Rain Drive reserve is receiving an upgrade, which includes irrigated turf areas, landscaping, new connecting paths, picnic shelter and general amenity upgrades.
