Personal Statement:
As an Elected Member who lives locally, raised a family and is active in the local community, I'm aware of what is important to residents. The cost of living is constantly raised; as is the sorry state of our verges, footpaths and local parks. This is why I support capping Council rates. The lack of car parking in our City Centre and Park Terrace intersection is a priority. I will focus Council's limited resources on getting the basics right - including the upgrade of John Street, attracting shops and services that residents want in the City Centre and stopping wasteful spending. I will not support the sale of community land to developers. I will make it a priority to fix Waterloo Corner Road. I support free Hard Waste collection and green waste bins.
