AGH Cox Reserve
This beautiful heritage Seniors Centre is located in a tree studded reserve at Parafield Gardens.
The centre offers activities that support culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) members to lead healthy, active lives and maintain connection with their cultural heritage, native language and cultural community.
The centre is a base for five culturally and linguistically diverse groups meet and undertake activities. For information on activities at the centre, phone (08) 8406 8513 or download a copy of the weekly program.
Membership is open to people over the age of 50 and younger people with disability. It gives you access to Council’s three Seniors Centres and subsidised meals for eligible members:
The Membership period aligns with the financial year July to June each year and a yearly membership fee ($12) applies to those who attend programs at the centre. Participants also pay a weekly participant fee depending on the program.
The Centre is accessible by the 224 bus (stop 34), train (Parafield Station) or car (street parking and some dedicated car parking available, including one disability car park). Transport through Council’s Home Assist program is also available for eligible participants.
