Close to the city centre and the Salisbury Aquatic Centre (currently in construction phase), Happy Home Reserve features a circuit walk, junior playground, dog park area and a large grassy expanse with shady spots that makes it a popular picnic destination.

The nearby wetlands is home to a wide array of birds.
A short walk away is Strowan Park, with a junior playground, tennis and basketball courts.
