Flood Management

A comprehensive review of flood preparedness and updated stormwater modelling by the City of Salisbury has confirmed that the actions being rolled out across the City safeguard the local community against a one in 100 year major flooding event.

The City of Salisbury has already committed more than $8 million as part of its efforts to manage flooding, with an additional $13 million earmarked for further stormwater management works over the next decade.

We are now using the updated flood modelling to identify and in turn contact residents and businesses identified as potentially being impacted by a significant weather event and invite them to a drop-in information session to speak directly with Council staff.
