COVID 19 Update

The City of Salisbury’s priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community. Therefore, due to the current COVID risk and the need for increased social distancing, our face to face programs will not return until 2021 however we will be offering a number of online activities for the community to enjoy. To keep up to date with our latest offerings, please follow the Salisbury Library Service Facebook page. More information on Counci's response to COVID-19.

Chess Club will be modified to ensure all attendees are able to follow all COVID-19 restriction guidelines including social distancing and minimising shared resources. Please sanitise hands upon arrival and use the sanitiser available. Please do not attend if sick or showing signs of cold and flu.

Play chess in a fun and friendly atmosphere. All activities are free!

The Chess Club is open to players of all ages. Children can play and practice against others of similar ages or seek tougher challenges if they desire.

We focus on helping children learn, improve and have fun. Knockout Tournaments are run regularly. Other activities include regular lectures, a Junior Championship, and Club Championship which is open to all ages.
