COVID-19 Update

Prior to bookings being accepted. all hirers are required to complete a COVID Safe Plan.

Please ensure room capacity limits meet your requirements.

Booking availability

We are not currently accepting room bookings due to transitioning to a new booking system.

Rooms for hire

We provide programs and activities for young people aged 12 to 25 years, with a focus on employment, education and enterprise. All room booking applications are considered in relation to Twelve25's strategic objectives as outlined in the current Strategic Youth Action Plan.

What you need to know before hiring a space

What's included

To book a space you need to follow this process:

  1. Check out what spaces are available to hire
  2. Complete the booking request online form
  3. If accepted, complete a booking contract and provide any further documentation required
  4. Make a payment to secure your booking
  5. Complete hirer induction and key collection

Further documentation may include:

  • Certificate of insurance
  • COVID Safe Plan and COVID Marshal certificates
  • Liquor licence


To get an accurate quote for costs you will need to put in a hirer request form. The bookings coordinator will contact you with a quote for room hire. Pricing may be subject to change.

You will be required to make a payment to secure your booking. The booking is required to be paid in full two weeks prior to the booking date.

  • Refundable bond - $350.00

Main Hall

  • Full-day rate - $220.00
  • Hourly rate - $30.00

Project Art Room

  • Full-Day Rate - $220.00
  • Hourly Rate - $30.00

Supper Room

  • Full-day rate - $115.00
  • Hourly rate - $115.00

Computer Suite

  • Full-day rate - $220.00
  • Hourly rate - $30.00

Consulting/ Meeting Rooms

  • Full-day rate - $63.00
  • Hourly rate - $10.00

Stage Room (not including the Main Hall)

  • Full-day rate - $108.00
  • Hourly rate - $15.00

Additional fees

  • A4 photocopying (per page) - $0.15
  • Colour photocopying (per page) - $0.30
  • Lost swipe card - $50.00
  • After hours security callout per hour - $50.00
  • Security hire - Quote required

Cancellation fee

Cancellation of any booking must be provided in writing. Normal hire charges and loss of bond may be applied if a written cancellation is not received by Council at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event date.

In excess of 14 days prior to the date will result in 50% of the hire fee, within 14 days is 100% of the hire fee.

Limited Liquor Licence

You will be required to obtain a limited liquor licence if your booking has alcohol where you:

  1. Sell alcohol at the event
  2. BYO or provide alcohol where attendees have been charged to enter (even for charity/fundraising events)

You will need to provide a copy of the limited licencing two weeks prior to the event.

You may also be required to have approved security at your event. This will be determined before your booking is secured.

All bookings will be required to include their set up and pack up times in the booking.

You will not have access to the building outside of your hirer times.

We do not have any storage facilities, you will be able to store equipment on site.

Your event is deemed high risk if your event;

  • Has more than 100 people
  • Alcohol is present
  • Is categorised as birthday party, celebration, music or dance event, wedding/ engagements, hens/ bucks night etc.

Due to the nature of a high risk event, there may be additional hire requirements and costs.

Private hirer

(e.g Birthday parties, weddings/engagements, hens/bucks nights, baby showers etc)

If you own public liability insurance which can include your home contents & building policy, we will ask for your insurance provider's name. You can still hire the venue if you do not have public liability.

Organisational/ community hirer

(e.g Businesses profit and not-for-profit, Incorporated bodies and Community organisations etc)

You will be required to upload a current copy of your organisation's certificate of insurance when requesting to hire the venue. We will not be able to accept your booking if you do not provide this.
