ScratchJr is a great introduction to one of the most popular programming languages for young people. It's also a great way to learn Scratch, one of the most popular coding tools used in primary schools.
Come along to complete some coding activities and see how ScratchJr can teach the fundamentals of coding skills.
No coding experience is required, but each child will need an adult attending to assist them with the coding activities.
ScratchJr is freely available for Android and Apple tablets and introduces some of the key elements of block-based coding. We recommend that if you have a tablet you bring it along with Scratch Jr downloaded.
