The ceremony will start at 11am on Tuesday 18 August 2020 – the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan.

The ceremony will be streamed from Montague Farm Estate, which is dedicated to all Australians who served in the Vietnam War. Fifty-nine South Australian personnel died during the conflict, and the streets and parks around the Estate are named in their honour.

City of Salisbury Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM said the ceremony will commemorate the thousands of Australians who served in the Vietnam War during the decade spanning from 1962 until 1972.

It is an opportunity to reflect upon their courage, to remember those who have died, and to provide support to the veterans who are still with us,” Mayor Aldridge said.

The Order of Ceremony will be made available HERE before the event is due to commence.
