Pooraka Farm Community Centre

Pooraka Farm

From Monday 29 June, restrictions will be eased at our libraries and community centres to allow for a more flexible approach to using our services. In line with stage three of the State Government’s roadmap for recovery from COVID-19, the following will apply at all City of Salisbury library and community centre sites;

  • You are permitted to bring your own food and drink in
  • Physical distancing of 1.5 metres and hygiene protocols will continue to be enforced
  • Please keep the above in mind when visiting and contact (08) 8406 8488 if you have any questions.

This unique contemporary facility has a soaring country barn roofline and distinctive windmill design reminiscent of recent local history. The light and airy building is a welcoming environment for a wide range of programs and activities.

Situated nearby is the Pooraka Memorial Hall, a community facility which is also managed by the Pooraka Farm Community Centre.

The air-conditioned hall has a seating capacity of 120 and features an enclosed courtyard. There are smaller meeting rooms available for community hire, and access to a well-equipped kitchen.
