From Monday 29 June, restrictions have been eased at our community centres to allow for a more flexible approach to using our services. In line with stage three of the State Government’s roadmap for recovery from COVID-19, the following will apply at all City of Salisbury library and community centre sites;

  • You are permitted to bring your own food and drink in
  • Physical distancing of 1.5 metres and hygiene protocols will continue to be enforced
  • Please keep the above in mind when visiting and contact (08) 8250 4167 if you have any questions.

Situated a few minutes’ drive from Salisbury City Centre, in the heart of the Bagster Road precinct, this spacious facility is located in a tree studded reserve adjacent to shops and other community facilities. Bagster Road Community Centre provides childcare as well as a number of other family and support services. The Centre also hosts many innovative programs that support people to develop employment skills, make the first steps into further education of just learn something new in a vibrant, welcoming and friendly environment.

Showcasing two social enterprises, which are located within the centre; Fast and Fresh Meal Kits which are available for $10 per kit and feed up to four people, as well as our Community Catering that can cater for your events or meetings.

The Centre has a computer facility that when not being used in a formal program, can be accessed by the community for access to basic online services. There is also capacity to support your basic admin needs like printing or copying if necessary.

There is casual space where you can meet up with a friend as well as other more formal areas for hire. The air-conditioned/heated hall is a versatile open area with a stage and seating capacity for up to 130 people. The hall is adjacent to a kitchen and opens onto a reserve. There are smaller meeting rooms, accessible kitchen and a crèche area all which are available for community hire.
