Create a Place - Public Art Project

Create a Place – Public art Projects

Promoting South Australian artists within our Salisbury region.

Create a Place is an exciting project to increase our awareness of public art within our community.

Artists and venues come together to create a space that adds colour and liveliness to our region through the use of paintings, stand-alone structures and mosaics.

Once registered through an express of interest application for both venues and artists, a small public art panel will match venues with artist that best reflects the needs for the spaces.

Artists will be provided with an artist brief specific to the site chosen and final drawings will need to be submitted for final approval.

So far we have had several successful ‘Create a Place’ spaces around our region and we want to continue to grow our public art projects.

Marketing and Promotion

On completion of the artwork artists will be photographed with their masterpieces displayed on our website.

We encourage any artists from South Australia to register their interest to take part in what we hope will become a legacy for our region.

Expressions of interest are currently closed but will re-open soon.
