COVID-19 Update
In line with the State Government direction issued earlier today, we are pleased that a number of Council’s services will resume from Monday however we ask that you please call the centre prior to visiting as oepning hours may have slightly changed.
Social distancing and hygiene measures will still apply and we ask that you please do not enter any Council facility if you are feeling unwell of experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. More information can be found here.
This unique contemporary facility has a soaring country barn roofline and distinctive windmill design reminiscent of recent local history. The light and airy building is a welcoming environment for a wide range of programs and activities.
Situated nearby is the Pooraka Memorial Hall, a community facility which is also managed by the Pooraka Farm Community Centre.
The air-conditioned hall has a seating capacity of 120 and features an enclosed courtyard. There are smaller meeting rooms available for community hire, and access to a well-equipped kitchen.

The large air-conditioned hall has a seating capacity of 200 people, with access to a large kitchen. There is a small stage available for community use, and ample parking space.
