Burton Community Centre

Burton logo

On 30 June 2021 the Burton Community Centre will close to make way for the new Burton Community Hub, a vibrant and exciting new facility for the whole community to enjoy.

Located close to Springbank Plaza Shopping Centre and recreational facilities, the new Community Hub will replace the existing Burton Community Centre and Salisbury West Library and provide a wide range of innovative cultural, learning and recreational opportunities. There will be a variety of relaxing quiet spaces perfect for individual and group study, as well as spaces for community programs and meetings.

There will be new technology that allows you to bring your own mobile device to work or study and access to a variety of meeting rooms and facilities for community and business groups.

Demolition of the existing Burton Community Centre will occur in July 2021 followed by the first phase of development including the construction of The Shed and Community Garden. The Salisbury West Library will remain open until the construction of the Burton Community Hub is completed in the second half of 2022.
