Thrive Leadership Program

Thrive is a leadership program that empowers young people to develop the skills they need to experience wellbeing, resilience and happiness throughout their lives.

'Thrive is based on the wellbeing model, PERMA developed by psychologist Martin Seligman, who believes that that they are five important building blocks of wellbeing and happiness.’

  • Young people are given the opportunity to come and meet like-minded people, have a safe space to talk and learn about mental health wellbeing, relationships and positive emotions.
  • This leadership program will empower young people to identify something in their lives that they are passionate about and ways to achieve their goals.
  • Delivered by positive psychology facilitators who will give the opportunity for young people to tailor their experience to their own interests, strengths and developmental priorities.
  • Any young person aged 15-24 is welcome to join!

 

Program details

When: 15 and 16 July 2021

Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm

Location: Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre (17-19 Wiltshire Street, Salisbury SA 5108)

Ages: 15 to 24 years

Cost: $10 for both days
