Development Council Major The Paddocks Masterplan

The Paddocks Masterplan

The Paddocks is one of the most significant sporting, open space, and wetland areas within Salisbury. In July 2018 Council endorsed the final Paddocks Masterplan which is a framework for future investment. The first two years of improvements include:

  • Improve safety in the wetlands.

  • General improvements to the wetland health and landscape quality.

  • New vehicle access way.

  • New picnic areas with irrigation and lawn.

  • Off street parking on Maxwell Road.

  • Improve the appearance of the existing pond.

  • Viewing mound within the wetlands.

Council will also be doing concept design and further consultation with the sporting clubs to plan for new club rooms, sporting ovals and car parking.

You should see site works start in late 2018.

How you can get involved

Consultation on the masterplan finished in June 2018. Council will continue to engage with the community and interest groups through the implementation of the masterplan.
