Mausoleum of the Holy Family
The Chapel of the Holy Family was officially opened in 2004 and offers new opportunities to families in Salisbury.
Located at Salisbury Memorial Park, the Romanesque styled Mausoleum is the largest facility of its type in South Australia and accommodates 720 undercover crypts. Features include a chapel, private family rooms, meditation areas, a fountain and a courtyard.
The Chapel, designed for the purposes of condolences, one month mind and anniversary masses, is also used for funeral services in lieu of a church.
The vestibule area allows mourners to partake in light refreshments after a service as an alternative to inviting guests to the family home.
The Mausoleum is non-denominational and is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 4.00pm on weekends and public holidays, including Easter.
