The City of Salisbury as part of a combined program, is holding a variety of events to celebrate both Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week.

 

Reconciliation Week 2018

National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June 2018) celebrates and builds on the respectful relationships shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. Reconciliation Week is an ideal opportunity for all Australians to explore ways to join the national reconciliation effort. The theme for 2018 is: Don’t keep history a mystery.

NAIDOC Week 2018

Held across Australia each July, NAIDOC Week celebrates the achievements and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The theme for NAIDOC Week 2018 (8 – 15 July) is: Because of her, we can!
