Do you know anyone aged over 50? Would they like to come and meet new friends? Are they looking to enjoy an activity whilst enhancing their health and wellbeing?

On Thursday 21 September there is an opportunity to drop by and visit the Jack Young Centre (JYC) and see why this Senior Centre is so well known, well attended and unique.

Out staff and volunteers would love to tell you about our range of activities available for anyone aged 50+, such as:

  • Card and games groups
  • Music groups
  • Physical activity groups
  • Discussion and support groups
  • Friendship groups
  • Wellbeing groups
  • Lifelong learning and ageing well groups
  • Craft groups
  • Computer groups

....and much, much more!


See group demonstrations on the day and enjoy a free morning tea.

Why not stay for a $7 lunch? Bookings essential before 11am on the day by phoning 8406 8525 or visiting JYC reception.

We offer a soup of the week, roast of the week, two weekly chef’s specials, plus a variety of daily meals.
