Northern Collaborative Project
The Northern Collaborative Project (NCP) is a project comprising the local government areas of Port Adelaide/Enfield, Tea Tree Gully, Salisbury, Playford and Gawler.
The project is funded through the federal Home and Community Care (HACC) program and aims to improve community services, consumer outcomes and community supports for older people, carers and people with a disability through:
- facilitating collaborative practice between service providers
- identifying and responding to key regional issues
- maximising efficient use of available resources
- ensuring consumer participation will contribute to the identification of regional issues
- facilitating service system reform
- facilitating responsive, flexible approaches to identified regional issues
It is inclusive of all regional aged, community and disability providers with a focus on consumer participation and input. The NCP is managed through a regional representative Steering Committee that meets on a monthly basis and is auspiced by the City of Salisbury.
