The Sheds

The Shed Edinburgh - webhero.jpg

The Sheds are quickly popping up all around Australia, with one likely to be found close to you.

The Sheds (typically known as Men's Sheds) function is to provide a safe, welcoming and encouraging space for all people, including women, to work on their projects, learn new skills and develop valuable friendships. Meet other new people and use your skills or learn new ones in a friendly supportive environment. Below is some information on a few located within the City of Salisbury:

  • The Woodworkers Shed Northern Districts SA Located at Lawrie Ave, Salisbury North (across from Salisbury Swimming Centre), this Shed celebrates their 20 years of service this year and is looking for new members to join their friendly team! On Saturday 3 August 2019, they had an Introductory Project Day where the public was invited to come and see examples of their work and find out more. Enquires to the Secretary on 0417 851 159.
