Age Friendly Strategy 2022-2027

The City of Salisbury is committed to ensuring that older residents can age well within Salisbury and the development of a new ageing strategy will be an important document to guide this work for the next five years.

The focus of this strategy is to create an age-friendly city that will support seniors to achieve an active and engaged life. The strategy has been developed with extensive input from older people in Salisbury.

Salisbury's Senior Alliance:

The Salisbury Seniors Alliance will be a forum that

  • Allows older people to have an ongoing voice in the implementation of the City of Salisbury’s Age-friendly Strategy,
  • Be able to make comments to Council about issues that affect their lives; and
  • Work together to promote and advance age-friendly initiatives in the local community.
