Join in on the fun this school holidays with our program of activities suitable for a variety of ages.

Please remember spaces are limited and the ages groups set for each activity must be observed.

 

Bubbles, Slime & Summer Days Play

Tuesday 9 January

A wonderful session full of bubbles, slime and much more! There will be lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities but be sure to bring a change of clothes!

SA Rocks Project

Wednesday 10 January

Find a rock, paint a rock and then hide the rock! Kids are invited to join in on the lastest rock paintng craze sweeping the state! A great creative and fun activity.

Ages: Five+

Making Pizza Muffins!

Thursday 11 January

Come along to our tasty pizza muffin making workshop where you will make delicious muffins, complete a fun activity booklet and decorate a box to take your muffins home in (if they last that long!!).

LEGO Play at the Library

Thursday 18 January, Para Hills Library

Drop in for LEGO fun at the Para Hills Library. There will be plenty of bricks to go around! Let your imagination run wild and build what you’d like. From houses to humming birds, or something completely different! It’s up to you and your creativity.

Skate Park BBQ

Friday 12 January

Join the Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Centre for a Skate Park sausage sizzle. There will be a basketball challenge and music playing throughout the day.

Ages: All ages

Time: 10.30am to 1.30pm

Read, Play, Learn

Monday 15 January

Experience our special School Holiday session of Read, Play, Learn. Join in the songs, reading and activities in our fun and comfortable children’s area.

Ages: Zero to six years

Time: 10.00am to 11.00am

Theatre Sports

Tuesday 16 January

Come and join in the fun of Theatre Sports run by our experienced Theatre Coach and Producer. Set in our theatre on stage it is a fun and non-threatening way to build self esteem and confidence. Lunch included.

Magic Mike’s Magic Workshop

Looking for fun and amazing school holiday entertainment? Magic Mike will teach your children how to become a magician! Learning MAGIC is FUN! Learning magic develops presentation skills, boosts self esteem and encourages problem solving.

Explore your five senses - and then mess with them! Your ears will deceive you and you won’t believe your eyes as we reach out and touch your brain and leave a bad taste in your mouth. And does something smell funny in here?

Intro to Robotics & Coding with Edison

Wednesday 24 January

Meet Edison, easy-to-use, programable, LEGO-compatible and perfect for getting started with robotics and coding. Participants will learn the basics of using block programing to make Edison move, flash lights, make noises and take part in a robot dance battle!

Getting Creative in the Garden

Come along and join us in the garden - we will be using old worn jeans to turn them into works of art in the garden. Bring an old pair of jeans and see how they can be given a new lease on life!
