PACE CLUB (Parent and Child Exercise Club)

The Mawson Centre has this year teamed up with The Paddocks Centre and the University of South Australia’s Mawson Lakes Sport’s Centre to bring you PACE Club!

PACE Club is A FREE Program, giving local parents the chance to meet families within the community and exercise with their children in a fun safe and local environment. The program which launched in February has been a popular activity for parents and their children.

The club is FREE, promotes healthy choices and all children who participate receive a complimentary drink and piece of fruit.

Feedback from parents:

“The class is great, as there’s never really much to do in the afternoons with my kid. Most community programs run in the morning which doesn’t work for me”.

“I thought my daughter being so young wasn’t that engaged at first. Then she randomly starting doing stretches at home a few days later in front of me what we had learnt in class…I couldn’t believe it!”

“The Gym courts are fantastic and brand new- and the fact the kids get fruit and juice after is just a lovely addition to an already really fun program”

“It’s nice to meet other parent’s with kids of a similar age. I now see one parent at our children’s school where we pick up our kids up. I never knew her before, but we have become friends through PACE Club and our kids now say hello to each other”
