I am a Parafield Gardens local who has lived in Salisbury for decades.  I have raised a family of two children in our beautiful city and worked extensively in Adelaide's northern suburbs.  I spend much of my time volunteering in the basketball community.  Currently, I work in the employment industry, helping find many jobseekers, both young and old meaningful employment in our northern suburbs.  I want to be your representative for Levels Ward, so I can fight for lower council rates, better public parks and play spaces, and a community bus to ensure our seniors have the right support to continue to enjoy our beautiful community.  Salisbury has been my families' home for most of our lives and, I want to continue to make Salisbury the choice for future generations when it comes to raising a family.  I humbly ask for your support at this election.  Vote 1, Don Vermeer.

Bradley Ian LANGSHAW

I have lived in Mawson Lakes since returning from overseas peacekeeping duties in June 2007.  I fell in love with the area as it was so peaceful, well planned and in a convenient location to everything I could ever need.  I've had 36 years serving the community all over Australia including the SES, Police, Ambulance, Urban and Rural Fire, Healthcare, Multicultural groups, GLBTIQ community, and more recently as a JP.  If elected to represent you, fellow residents and our community, I will strive to ensure that our council makes responsible, sound decisions reflecting the best interest of the residents and the working community.  I really want Salisbury to be the best place to live, raise children and retire.  My vision is to ensure continual growth, responsible management, better services and to be your voice.

As a newly qualified graduate of a bachelor in Health Sciences specialising in Public Health, I know that the health of the public matters in everyday life.  If elected, I will strive to ensure that the decisions made by the council reflect what Levels ward community wants and to make sure that the health of the Salisbury community is made a priority.  As being born and raised in the Northern suburbs, I understand the issues affecting the Salisbury community at large and the Levels ward in particular and will always be willing to listen and create new ideas.  Currently I am 24 years old, residing in Salisbury with my high school sweet heart and have been working in the local community since I was 16 years old.  I have no vested or commercial interests; I am only interested in the improvement of the local environment and health of the community.

Beau BRUG

As a candidate who lives, works and went to school locally, I am aware of what is important to residents.  When I am doorknocking, the cost of living is constantly raised.  I will not support an increase to Council rates above inflation.  I will work to ensure suburbs like Pooraka and Parafield Gardens aren't neglected and that Council focus its limited resources on basic services like footpaths, decent roads, parks and verges and not fund extravagance.  I will work with Government to remove heavy vehicles from Elder Smith Drive, increase the bridge to multiple lanes and construct a multi-story carpark in Mawson Lakes to address major car parking issues around the interchange.  I will also make it easier to remove nuisance trees in older suburbs of Pooraka and Parafield Gardens.  For a young, enthusiastic representative who will listen and act, please support Beau Brug by Voting 1!

I am hardworking, determined, straightforward with high morals and no affiliation to any political party, commercial or other groups and I am determined to make a difference in the area I call home.  My aim as Levels Ward elected Councillor will be to ensure that our Ward is receiving Council's attention proportional to the rates we pay.  I reside at Mawson Lakes since 2005, however Salisbury is the council I raised my family since my arrival in Australia and I have strong connections with the local community.  I promise as a councillor I will be your passionate advocate and I will work hard to promote the Levels Ward needs.
