The kids will be spoilt for choice this school holidays with a myriad of activities to choose from in and around the City of Salisbury.

From exploring our parks and playgrounds to delighting in our aviation history - there’s something for everyone, including the adults, these school holidays.

City of Salisbury Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM, said the school holidays are a great time for children to have a break, enjoy the warmer weather and for families to explore our wonderful City.

“We are so fortunate to have a range of different facilities available to everyone all the time here in Salisbury, but during school holidays there are also a number of activities and programs designed to keep your little ones entertained,” Mayor Aldridge said.

“Our Salisbury Libraries and Community Centres offer a range of classes or courses that range from free to $5 including E-sports, photography, cooking, movies and free colouring-in activities and library resources.”

And that’s not all. Kids can also experience the delights of the City of Salisbury with hiking and mountain bike trails at Cobbler Creek Recreation Park, they can sit behind the controls of the Royal Australian Navy Jet Fighter at the Classic Fighter Jet Museum, or they can experience the one-of-a-kind St Kilda Playground with its huge castle, flying fox and pirate ship.

There’s also the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary at St Kilda Mangrove Trail, the National Military Vehicle Museum in Edinburgh, or a ride on the miniature railway at Penfield Park Railway in Edinburgh. Or choose them all!

And finally, end the school holidays on a high with nature play activities at Salisbury Plays St Kilda on Sunday 14 October from noon to 3pm. Full details at
