Faces and Places Competition

Have you got a hidden treasure trove of old photos you took from across the City of Salisbury? Maybe you took a gorgeous family shot of the kids at St Kilda recently? We want your photos! We're seeking images - old and new - of places  taken throughout the Salisbury region. Three $100 vouchers are up for grabs for BEST OLD PHOTO, BEST LANDSCAPE SHOT AND BEST SELFIE. The images may be projected over the Salisbury Community Hub's big outdoor screen at the Hub's opening event later this year.

Competition closes 5pm Friday 8 November 2019.

How to enter

Facebook: Load a photo to the City of Salisbury Facebook page telling us where the photo was taken (and what year if you are loading up an old photo).

Instagram: Load a photo to Instagram and tag #YourHubYourHome. Include where the photo was taken (and what year if you are loading up an old photo).

Online: Upload your photo here.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Entries open Friday 4 October 2019 and close at 5pm Friday 8 November 2019.
  2. Entry is open to residents of the City of Salisbury. Employees of the City of Salisbury are ineligible to enter.
  3. To enter the competition on Facebook - load a photo to the City of Salisbury Facebook page telling us where the photo was taken (and what year if you are loading up an old photo).
  4. To enter the competition on Instagram – load a photo and tag #YourHubYourHome. Include where the photo was taken (and what year if you are loading up an old photo).
  5. We have three x $100 gift cards to give away. One for the winner of the best selfie, one for the winner of the best landscape shot and one for the winner of the best history shot. Total value $300.
  6. Entries will be judged by the City of Salisbury’s Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM Monday 11 November at 12 James Street, Salisbury
  7. Winners will be announced on the City of Salisbury Facebook page Friday 15 November.
  8. The photos may be shown over the large screen at the Salisbury Community Hub Opening weekend 30
    November to 1 December 2019.
  9. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
