Sport and Recreation Grants
The City of Salisbury, through its Minor Capital Works Grants Program, aims to assist community organisations that provide sport and recreation opportunities to the community.
These community organisations also have a current usage agreement with Council and use Council-owned facilities or are from facilities where Council maintains a contracted interest to purchase.
The purpose of the program is to maintain and conserve Council's existing assets, to develop, construct or add to new assets that will increase community participation in sport and recreation, and to enhance the viability and operation of the club.
The 2012/13 round of Minor Capital Works grants opened on 17 October 2011 and close at 5.00pm on Friday 25 November 2011. Applicants will be notified of their success in February 2012, for works to commence from July 2012.
