Asset Services

The Asset Services Department is the provider of maintenance services to the City and aims to support our community by maintaining and improving the public environment. 

 

Business Services

Asset Services is a large department in terms of staff employed and assets deployed. To ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to the community, Business Services provides support in the following areas:

Core functions include:

  • financial management
  • administrative support

  • procurement management
  • asset management systems
  • store
  • nursery business unit

 

Civil Services

The Civil Services Division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure throughout the City. This includes 774 kilometres of roads, 472 kilometres of underground drainage systems and 213 buildings and structures within the City of Salisbury.

  • Pooraka waste transfer station

Parks and Landscape

The Parks and Landscape Division provides services to a wide range of assets located within some 1,400 hectares of open space within the City of Salisbury. This includes reserves, escarpment gullies, sports grounds, wetlands, linear parks and verges.

Performance and Systems Development

The Performance and Systems Development Division supports Asset Services and other departments of Council in delivering services to the community. The Division also engages directly with community members, groups and service providers in sensitive community safety related matters.
